Victim Impact Panels Offered Bi-monthly

The Center for restorative Justice Victim Impact Panels are held every other month.Location: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, 425 Kansas City St. (Downstairs meeting room.)
People referred to the VIP must call and leave a message that they are attending a session. 605-348-3665.
Time: All Classes are from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with Registration 5:45 – 6:00 PMFee: $25 cash or money order
Certificates will be given to those completing the VIP session.
Juvenile Victim Impact Panel dates:

- Victims and the impact of crime on them are the focus.
- Victims’ personal experiences are the centerpiece.
- Victims deserve to have their rights enforced and their voices heard.
- Anyone can become a victim of crime.
- Victimization creates a “ripple effect” throughout the community.
- Offenders have the opportunity to change their thinking and their behavior.
- Offenders have an obligation to make amends to their victims, directly and indirectly.
